Driftless Health Is Now Accepting Patients in Viroqua, WI
We’ve been quietly spreading the word about Driftless Health for a while now. Mostly through conversations with friends, neighbors, local providers, and people who have heard about us through someone else.
And we’ve been getting a lot of the same questions:
- When are you opening?
- Who are you?
- What kind of care do you provide?
So, it feels like the right time to officially get the word out. Driftless Health will begin seeing patients on Tuesday, August 18, in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
It has taken a lot of work to get here. There has been plenty of paperwork, painting, equipment setup, planning, technology, and all the little details that go into building a healthcare practice from the ground up. But the reason for doing it has always been pretty simple. We wanted to create a place where healthcare feels personal.
Healthcare that starts with you
At Driftless Health, we provide primary medical care, acute care, wellness and preventive care, and holistic and functional medicine
Sometimes you just need someone to see you because you’re sick or something doesn’t feel right. Sometimes you want help monitoring your blood pressure, cholesterol, labs, medications, or other ongoing health concerns. And sometimes you’re feeling okay, but you want to be more proactive about your health, prevention, nutrition, lifestyle, or long-term wellness. Sometimes the answer isn’t obvious. Maybe you’ve been dealing with fatigue, digestive concerns, changes in how you feel, or several symptoms that don’t seem to fit neatly together. That’s where a broader, holistic, functional medicine approach may help.
You don’t need to know exactly what type of appointment you need before you contact us. Start with what is bothering you or what you want to work on, and we can go from there.

One reason we created Driftless Health was to make more time for the conversations that matter. We want to know what is going on, but also what matters to you.
What are you worried about? What would you like to improve? What has worked before? What hasn’t? What does better health actually look like in your life? Our goal is to work through those questions with you and build a plan together. Sometimes that plan may be straightforward. Other times, it may involve labs, lifestyle changes, additional evaluation, referrals, or taking a closer look at the bigger picture. Either way, we want you to understand what we’re doing and why.

Local care in the Driftless region
We’re proud to be opening Driftless Health in downtown Viroqua and to serve people throughout the surrounding Driftless region. This community has already been incredibly welcoming. Many people have stopped by to ask questions, shared our name with friends and family, introduced us to other local providers, or simply told us they were excited to see something new coming to the area. We appreciate every one of those conversations.
For a while, we’ve been saying, “We’re getting close.” Now we can finally say we’re ready!
