FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Driftless Health provides direct cash-pay primary care and family medicine, integrative and functional medicine, wellness and prevention, focused medical visits, laboratory services, sports and participation physicals, DOT medical examinations, and eligible telehealth care. These frequently asked questions explain how our care model works and what patients can expect before, during, and after a visit.

What ages do you see?

Driftless Health currently provides care for patients age 13 and older.

For patients younger than 18, a parent or legal guardian must generally complete registration and consent documents and participate in care as required. Portions of an adolescent visit may be conducted privately when clinically appropriate and permitted by law.

We are also working toward expanding our family medicine and primary care services to include younger pediatric patients. We hope to offer broader pediatric care in the coming months as the practice grows and the appropriate clinical systems, supplies, and workflows are put in place.

Until those services are formally announced, please contact the clinic before scheduling care for a child younger than 13.
