Acute or Focused Care

New and established patients may schedule a brief Acute or Express Visit for one limited concern.

A longer appointment or follow-up may be recommended when additional evaluation is needed.

Primary Care

Choose a longer appointment when you want Driftless Health to serve as your primary healthcare clinic.

These visits allow time to review your health history, medications, preventive needs, current concerns, and goals.

Integrative or Functional Medicine

Choose a longer appointment to explore ongoing symptoms, health patterns, nutrition, sleep, stress, lifestyle, medications, supplements, or laboratory findings.

This care may serve as your primary healthcare relationship or complement care from another provider.

New-patient fee and payment

One-time new-patient fee: $50

A one-time $50 new-patient fee applies to your first appointment. Sports, Participation, and DOT exams do not incur the new-patient fee.

The fee supports patient registration, creation of your electronic health record, review of submitted information, required forms, and preparation for your first visit.

Laboratory testing, point-of-care testing, imaging, and outside services may involve additional costs.

Driftless Health is a direct cash-pay practice and does not bill or accept commercial health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits.

Choose a focused visit for one concern or a longer visit to establish primary care or begin integrative or functional medicine care.

Complete your forms

You will receive access to the secure patient portal to complete registration and health information before your visit.

Meet and create a plan

Attend your appointment in person in Viroqua or through telehealth when appropriate.

Together, we will review your concerns, discuss your goals, and determine practical next steps.

Focused visits remain centered on the concern scheduled. Longer visits allow for a broader review of your health and goals.

Before your appointment, please complete your online forms and provide relevant medication lists, test results, records, physical forms, or questions when reasonably available.

You do not need to collect every medical record before requesting an appointment.

The clinic is located on the second floor of a historic building and is accessible by stairs.

Patients who need an accessible care option may contact Driftless Health to discuss telehealth, referral assistance, or other available arrangements.

Telehealth

Telehealth may be available for eligible visits when clinically appropriate. Patients must be located in Wisconsin at the time of the appointment.

An in-person visit may be recommended when examination, testing, or hands-on evaluation is needed.

Scope of care

Driftless Health is not an emergency or after-hours medical service and does not provide addiction medicine, chronic pain management, or long-term opioid or benzodiazepine treatment.
